My name is Captain Tim Peace and I am a Master of Yachts up to 200 gt, RYA Motor Cruising, Advanced Powerboat and Shorebased Instructor.
I specialise in skippering Motor Yachts up to 24 metres, Charter work, Own Boat Tuition on Motor Yachts & RIB’s and, Navigational teaching.

MARINA SKILLS

This 4 day course aboard a twin engine motor cruiser will practically teach pilotage, navigation, seamanship and boat handling, to the standard required to skipper a motor cruiser safely by day in tidal waters. You will receive an introduction to making a night passage and be able to apply for your ICC certificate on successful completion.

This 5 day shorebased course offers the true foundation knowledge for all seafarers. You will cover off Safety, Chartwork, Buoyage, Collision Regulations, Navigation and so much more in preparation for your Day Skipper Practical Course, Motor or Sail. In my opinion, this should be a prerequisite for all practical courses to add huge value and safety to leisure boating.

This 1 day course is a great way of revising ‘parking the boat’ and ‘tieing on the lines’ whilst learning new skills aboard our twin engine motor cruiser. This day is focused on being in a marina and building confidence at the time that causes most boaters 95% of their anxiety. We keep it simple and get you ready for the UK waters or, that Mediterranean charter week!
